Mulch for seed protection
The mulch used in hydroseeding plays a key role in seed protection. Rain and wind can displace the seeds and create gaps in the vegetative cover.
The mulch serves multiple functions—it enhances the adhesive strength for binding seeds, fertilizers, and soil, helping to create a uniform protective layer. It retains more moisture while simultaneously reducing soil evaporation by absorbing water, minimizes erosion and runoff, and also adds organic matter to the soil.
HYDROFIBRE - wood fiber mulch
Hydrofibre is a mulch composed entirely of wood fibers (non-recycled), derived from the thermomechanical processing of wood chips. The mulch contains fibers of varying lengths, ensuring a uniform surface coverage.
Application: it is suitable for every kind of hydroseeding, protects the soil from erosion, promotes grassing even in presence of adverse weather conditions and high slopes, hydroseeding of ski slopes, re-seeding of existing lawns, hydroseeding of gardens.
Dosage: the required quantities depend on the type of hydroseeding, soil, slope, climate and exposition. In general, from 80g/mq to 200g/mq.

HYDROSTROH - Straw Mulch
Hydrostroh is applied against the erosion of the soil and for the protection of the seed against severe weather conditions. In fact, it helps to maintain the soil water balance by reducing the moisture loss by 15-20%. During its production, the straw got crushed in order to obtain the ideal fiber length for hydroseeding. It is dust-free so to obtain a top-quality product which is both pathogen and weed-seeds free. Thanks to straw fiber length, Hydrostroh gives a better coverage reducing erosion, it is possible to improve the coverage by mixing together 70% Mulch Hydrostroh and 30% Mulch Hydrofibre
Application: it is suitable for every kind of Hydroseeding, protects the soil from erosion, heavy hydroseeding, hydroseeding on reinforced turfs, hydroseeding on flat areas.
Dosage: the required quantities depend on the type of work, soil, slope, and climate. From 80g/mq to 200g/mq.

HYDROCELL - Cellulose Mulch
Cellulose Mulch Hydrocell derives from the processing of paper and because of that its fibers are less rough and shorter. Thanks to its short and light fibers it is easily mixable in water and so ideal for hydroseeders without mechanical agitator.
Application: it is suitable for every kind of hydroseeding, erosion control, grassing on low sloping lands, hydroseeding on lawns, hydroseeding on flat areas.
Dosage: the required quantities depend on the type of work, soil, slope, and climate. From 70g/mq to 100g/mq.
